Blogging is fun, freeing, profitable and……challenging.
Remaining committed to your blogging goals feels tough sometimes. Other times, being ALL IN feels impossible. Take today to me. My right neck region feels incredibly stiff and pained. I steam-cleaned the house, did my 20 minutes of meditating and 10 minutes of Kriya yoga, and 90 minutes of both power walking and yin yoga await me. I have 3 or more guest posts to still write, plus promoting all of my 124 eBooks, remaining. Hey; let’s kill 2 birds with one stone, shall we?

1: Put First Things First
My prime goal-intent is to get my 124 eBooks in 1 billion hands so I spend most of my day promoting my eBooks through:
- guest posts
Everything I create points to 1 or more of my eBooks to keep me committed to this goal 100%. If I tried to commit 100% to 2 prime goals, I would need to split my energy 50%-50%, making it harder and harder to be ALL IN with either goal. Pick 1 prime blogging goal. Commit most if not all energy to the goal. Sure you may promote other things but make the main thing, the main thing.
2: Manage Your Energy
I spend 4 hours managing my energy through:
- doing Kriya yoga
- doing yin yoga
- power walking
I sleep 8 hours daily to recharge.
I spend 12 of 24 hours managing my energy so my 8 to 12 blogging hours flow smoothly, me being energized, rested, committed and focused on my blogging goals. Most bloggers seem not too committed because their mind-energy is chaos, dominated by fear. Managing energy helps you become aware of fear to face fear and to release fear, getting you back on purpose and on goal so you do not stray off course.
3: Surround Yourself with Love
Network with bloggers and readers who love what you do. These folks keep you on the straight and narrow toward your blogging goals because loving bloggers who support you energize you to knife through your fears. I vibe pretty high from a relaxed, focused vibe but sometimes need a little nudge from my loving friend network to be fully committed to my blogging goals. After the nudge, I keep going even further outside of my comfort zone toward greater growth, service, and success.
Hang with people who love what you do to be 100% committed to your blogging goals.
4: Hug Fear
Fear is the only thing between you and your goals. Fear is the only thing that appears to prevent you from living your blogging goals. Hug fear. Proceed. Keep moving toward your goals to keep growing and succeeding by hugging and feeling fears, routinely, no matter how unpleasant the experience.
Being committed to blogging shoves you outside of your comfort zone because you face fears routinely on the blogging journey. Do you fear missing out on a night with the fam on a Friday night after 40 hours of work at your full-time job, when you KNOW you should blog, but feel pulled toward skipping out and relaxing with the fam? Yep; most bloggers feel this fear and resist feeling the fear, taking the comfortable, failing blogging path, heading out to eat and avoiding blogging work. Few bloggers hug the fear, put in blogging work while their fam goes out to eat, and blog full time, eventually.
Face fear. Hug it. Succeed by being ALL IN with blogging.
